Formed in 1929, the Thalian Society is one of five local female societies (sororities) at Whittier College. It is composed
of a large and diverse group of women who share a sisterhood and an everlasting bond of friendship. Each individual woman
has something unique to bring to the society.
Members of the Thalian Society are characterized by their multi-faceted involvement on Whittier College's campus and their
commitment to regularly volunteering and giving back to the Whittier community.
